About Dr. Ramona Pleva, DC
Dr. Pleva is the owner of Northern Lights Chiropractic, PLLC and a 2015 graduated of Life University in Marietta, GA. A long time proponent of holistic health, Dr. Pleva embraces the concept of Vitalism. Vitalism is the belief that the body is a self-healing, self-organizing mechanism. When the body is free of nerve interference, optimal health and wellness can be expressed.
If you ask Dr. Pleva why she’s so passionate about chiropractic care, her answer is simple. “Chiropractic seeks to remove the cause of the problem and that makes perfect sense to me. Why take a drug to cover up symptoms when you can simply restore the body to better health with a chiropractic adjustment?”
Dr. Pleva is committed to providing her patients with individualized and gentle chiropractic care. She serves patients of all ages. Dr. Pleva is certified in the Webster Technique for pregnant women and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She also performs extremity adjustments which are effective for restoring the proper biomechanics associated with shoulder problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, ankle, knee and hip injuries.
Dr. Pleva is a proud native of Leelanau County and is thrilled to be home and providing chiropractic care to Northern Michigan. Dr. Pleva is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Traverse City.
